HISTORY, MISSION AND VISION

January 15, 2018

History

In  2003  Pastor Sharon stepped forward to seek a group of interested persons who would be available to help incorporate a Transitional Housing Program for homeless women and children, in Vallejo, CA.  She was moved by those in the community who were without housing.  Under the leadership of Pastor Sharon Spencer and  Christian Board Members,  the seed of compassion turned to fruition in the incorporation of Hope Haven Transitional Shelter, Inc.

Mission

We will provide food and shelter to those who are homeless with compassion, dignity and respect.

Vision

We envision a community where everyone has a right to affordable housing and food. Through our support those in need will become independent and self-sufficient citizens in our society.

We are a tax exempt non-profit organization under 501 (c)3 of the IRS Code

HOPE HAVEN'S VISION IS ABOUT REPAIRING WHAT HAS BEEN BROKEN.
